Many of us get goosebumps if we ever have to climb into an attic.
Just exploring the dark, narrow room gives you goosebumps. And sometimes you find things up there that you didn’t even know were there.
That’s exactly what happened to a man recently. He stumbled upon a small separate room in his attic after crating some poorly used items for storage.
He didn’t think there would be anything inside – but he was soon proven wrong. He got the shock of his life when a “creepy doll” stared back at him – and things only got stranger.
Responding to the thread “People who found secret rooms in their house – what was in them?” on Reddit, he said: “The first time I went in there, I found this little creepy doll.”
“The second time I went there, I found another virtually identical creepy doll (I had already thrown away the first one). I threw that one away too because it had really crappy eyes.”
But that wasn’t the only strange discovery he made in the secret attic room, as he also came across a “strange little book about twice the size of my thumb.” He added: “On every page there were these strange letters that I didn’t recognize.”
You might think that would be enough to stop him from climbing into the attic forever, but that wasn’t the case. The third time he tried, he found another doll in the dark room.
At this point, he began to wonder what unusual hobbies the previous residents had. He added, “I also found another creepy doll. Yes, the strange people who lived here before had some strange hobbies.”
“Yes, some people collect dolls, but who the hell buys a bunch of identical dolls with scary eyes and throws them away too?” After that, we just used it to store canned goods.”
Reddit users were equally appalled by the situation – and some couldn’t resist poking fun at the poster. One user said: “Maybe it was the same doll all three times. It just kept coming back after you threw it away.”
