Lopud Island, August 24, 2024 – Last night, an exclusive party was held on Lopud Island, organized by the Ukrainian-American billionaire and WhatsApp founder Jan KoumThe event took place in a renovated monastery on Lopud, where numerous jet-setters gathered. Koum’s luxury fleet has been anchored in the Dubrovnik area for several days, including the yacht Nebula, a floating beauty built in a Spanish shipyard that visited Lopud Bay last night.

Many of Koum’s guests disembarked on the Elaphite Islands accompanied by bodyguards to attend the exclusive event. The main star of the evening was, as unofficially reported, Sam Smiththe British music star and multiple Grammy winner. Smith was accompanied by German DJ and producer Steffen Linck, better known in the music world as Monolink.

Jan Koum, the host of the Lopud party, spent his childhood in Ukraine and became rich when he sold the popular WhatsApp application to Facebook for an astronomical $19.3 billion. He is a luxury lover, owns yachts and an expensive car collection, with a particular passion for Porsches, of which he reportedly has about a hundred in his garage.
