I think it is safe to say that @kyle_efford is now our favorite LB.
Efford recorded 10 tackles in the surprise victory, a record for all Yellow Jacket defenders. In addition led the team will have the most tackles in 2023, despite only starting in the second half of the season.
The win disrupts the Seminoles’ season, but also makes Georgia Tech look like a team that could make a splash in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets went 7-6 in 2023 and won the Gasparilla Bowl, earning the team bowl eligibility for the first time since 2018.
