Toy Story 5 was announced by Pixar, while the release year of the sequel was revealed.
The news came at this year’s D23 Expo in California, where Disney is presenting its entertainment plan for the next few years.
With the announcement this evening (10 August) it was confirmed, Toy Story 5 the toys will “compete with what children are obsessed with today,” and that is, of course, “electronics.”
Yes, the new film is all about the theme of “toys meet technology.” At first glance, you see the toys looking on sadly while a child sits under a blanket with an iPad-like device.
Users were thrilled by the news, with one writing on X: “What a flashback to my best years, Lfg.”
Others wrote: “This is unbelievable.”
However, some were torn about the idea of another Toy history One person put it this way: “I’m confused? Woody stayed at the fair with Bo Peep, right? How did he get back with them?”

Another agreed, chiming in: “Where’s Bo Peep? I thought Woody left his friends to be with her.”
Toy Story 4 ends with Woody leaving the other toys to be with Little Bo Peep.
This comes after Toy Story 3 also ended with Andy giving his toys to a young girl, leaving many fans wondering how there could be two whole films after those endings.
