Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie, Bergen County Democratic Chairman Paul Juliano and Hudson County Democratic Chairman Craig Guy released the following joint statement on the death of Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson), who represented each of their districts in Congress.
“It is with profound sadness that we express our deepest condolences on the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell, a statesman whose extraordinary life spanned four decades. Congressman Pascrell was more than just a public servant – he was a pillar of our community, a voice of reason, and a tireless advocate for the people he passionately represented.
His legacy is one of dedication and public service and includes countless accomplishments that have impacted our community and our country.
In his final weeks, as he faced his final battle with the same courage and determination that had defined his life, we held out hope that he would once again overcome all adversity.
