DEVOL, OK – The Comanche Red River Hotel Casino will host its first Red River Art and Music Festival on Saturday, September 7. The festival will run from 3 p.m. to midnight and is free and open to the public. An arts and crafts exhibit, including beadwork, will be featured from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be live music starting at 4 p.m. and continuing until midnight. Guests can also enjoy complimentary food starting at 5 p.m.

As the Comanche Nation’s largest entertainment property, the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino features local and well-known artwork by Comanche artists in each of its suites. The festival will showcase some of these artists and give them the opportunity to express their creativity in person.

Headlining the music portion of the festival is Gannon Fremin & CCREV, a four-piece rock band from Walters, OK. The band is best known for incorporating their southwest Oklahoma roots into their lyrics and sound. The band will take the stage at 10:30 p.m.

“This is the first event of its kind on the Comanche Red River to showcase the creativity, talent and rhythm of our community,” said Jay Martinez, GM of the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino. “We welcome and encourage all to join us for fascinating art exhibits, live music performances and a warm embrace of our vibrant culture.”
