Bayley comments on the possibility of a Fatal 4-Way Match between herself, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone of AEW).
Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks revolutionized women’s wrestling in WWE in the mid-2010s. Due to their work in helping to elevate women’s wrestling to the level of main events in WWE NXT and later on the main roster, the quartet earned the nickname “Four Horsewomen.”
Over the years, all four women competed against each other in numerous singles matches, tag team matches, and even some triple threat matches, but there was never a Fatal 4-Way where all four pioneers competed against each other.
As of August 2024, Bayley is the only healthy member of the group actively competing in WWE. With Charlotte Flair out of action due to injury, Becky Lynch sidelined with her future uncertain, and Sasha Banks now Mercedes Mone in AEW, it’s uncertain if the Fatal 4-Way dream will ever come true.
While speaking with DS of Ring The Belle during SummerSlam week, Bayley was asked if she believes the match can still happen. Her answer was short and sweet, but very hopeful.
“I have to believe in it,” she said.
The match took place at the beginning of the development of the WWE NXT Women’s Division. At WWE NXT TakeOver: Rival, Sasha Banks defeated the other three women to win the WWE NXT Women’s Championship.
