Sealed with a kiss

Erin and Terry chose to get married in Ireland because “home is where the heart is,” said the bride. They worked with event planner Andrea Winckworth of Andrea Winckworth Events to bring their dream wedding to life, down to the smallest detail.

Time to say “Yes!”

Erin and Terry exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony on the venue’s grounds as friends and family looked on. The bride walked down the aisle accompanied by her father, Tony McGregor, to the sound of a mashup of two songs: “Simply the Best” by Tina Turner and “This” by Megan McKenna.

Beautiful in lace

Erin chose a white Zuhair Murad wedding dress with intricate lace details and a corset-like bodice, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. “The dress perfectly matched the royal and glamorous theme of the wedding and made me look both sophisticated and radiant,” she told PEOPLE.

Beautiful

Erin’s bridesmaids – including her daughter Taylor and Conor’s fiancée Dee Devlin – wore floor-length ivory crepe gowns with rhinestone embellishments by Folkster. On the morning of the wedding, Erin gifted the women custom-made blue pajamas and robes from her own brand, Imperfection by Erin, to celebrate the special occasion.

Sibling support

Erin’s brother Conor supported his sister at her wedding, wearing a custom black tuxedo from his own label August McGregor.

Erin and Terry incorporated several unique traditions into their ceremony, including a sand ceremony where they symbolically mixed pink and blue colored sand – from the location of their first date, Sandymount Beach in Ireland – to represent Taylor and Harry.

The couple also performed a handfasting ritual. “During this moment, we recited words expressing our commitment to each other,” Erin said.

A family affair

Erin and Terry carefully planned their wedding to ensure the well-being of their son Harry, who is autistic. They chose to hold the ceremony outdoors to give the 8-year-old “the freedom to move around without feeling locked in an enclosed space,” his mother said.

“Our absolute must for the wedding was to make sure Harry was as comfortable as possible and could enjoy the wedding festivities,” Erin added.

Special role

Knowing that their son Harry might not feel comfortable walking in with the other page boys and flower girls, Terry and Erin recorded a video of Harry walking up the aisle with them during the rehearsal. They played the footage on two television screens during the ceremony.

“This allowed us to share this special moment with all of our guests, no matter what the circumstances were that day,” Erin noted.

Cheers to the happy couple!

After the ceremony, an elegant cocktail reception began. Guests were served a selection of tempting canapés, as well as cocktails made with Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey and Forged Irish Stout, both of which are Conor’s. A six-piece acoustic band played while everyone socialised and chatted.

Dinner is served

After the cocktail hour, a four-course meal followed. The menu included West Cork Crab Tian with tomato and basil gazpacho, a fennel and herb salad and roasted beef fillet with a side of bourguignon and red wine jus.

Sweet finish

For dessert, guests enjoyed slices of the couple’s spectacular five-tiered wedding cake, made by Cakes in Dublin and decorated with edible flowers and a large cascading bow. Other desserts included strawberry and vanilla, white chocolate and matcha tea.

Let the dance begin!

During the reception, the Ambassador Band, a 10-piece group, performed Terry and Erin’s first dance to “Unconditional” by Sinéad Harnett. As the party continued late into the night, Casa Disco – a four-piece group including a DJ, singer, drummer and saxophonist – took over and kept the music going.

Sparkling surprise

In a special moment, fireworks lit up the sky above the wedding venue to celebrate Erin and Terry’s union.

Quick change

When the after-party began, Erin swapped her formal wedding dress for a white mini dress by Folkster and accessorized with fun bridal-themed sunglasses.

Memories for a lifetime

Looking back on their picture-perfect wedding, Erin told PEOPLE she is excited to start this new chapter of her life with Terry by her side.

“I look forward to creating countless memories, tackling life’s challenges hand in hand and growing even closer as we pursue our dreams together,” she said.
