“Deceptions of the Foulest Kind,” a new book by Mesa resident Jeff L. Barnhart, was published by Dorrance Publishing Co. Inc.
“Agent Defy Masters, the best MIG-1A, is on a mission, a mission she is not excited about and one that quickly goes awry. Together with her partner Agent Paul Teller, the two embark on an adventure in Germany to take down a dangerous terrorist group – The Grand Revolt, or GR, wants to destroy them, and our heroes must put a stop to their plans. Once they find out exactly what those plans are,” a press release says.
“‘Deceptions of the Foulest Kind’ follows the team through many twists and turns, so many that they don’t always know which way is up and which way is down, but with the help and support of their colleagues – if they can be trusted – this pair may just be able to save the day,” it says.
Barnhart is a minister, which is not in this book but may be used in another book. He has a doctorate in theology and also enjoys writing novels, short stories, etc. They do not have to be religious in any way.
The author has worked in the architecture field as a job captain – one level below an architect – and worked with an architect who was trained by Frank Lloyd Wright. Barnhart has a BAS in architecture, according to the press release.
Barnhart suffers from epilepsy and, for this and other reasons, is no longer able to work full-time.
