Top WWE star ready to ‘drive management crazy’ by pushing for a fight with John Cena

Top WWE star ready to ‘drive management crazy’ by pushing for a fight with John Cena

A top WWE star won’t settle for a one-on-one match with John Cena.

Drew McIntyre is open about his feelings and made it clear during a recent appearance on the Ringer Wrestling Show that he will do whatever it takes to face John Cena on his farewell tour.

“Cena is coming back for his one-year comeback, which is going to be great. I don’t know if I’m in the plans, but I guarantee I’m going to push and push them in every direction to make it happen, because I’ve got so many stories about Punk and things that happened when I was younger that I’m ten times ahead of him. There’s never been a one-on-one match.

If I have to drive management crazy, I’ll drive them crazy, drive John crazy. I’m going to get that fight and tear them to pieces on the mic, which not many people can do in the ring, and send him into a happy retirement and hopefully Punk with him.”

When will John Cena retire?

At Money in the Bank, John Cena made a surprise appearance and announced that he would retire from WWE in 2025. Cena later confirmed the number of dates he would wrestle during the year, with his last fight scheduled to take place in December.

In a recent interview, Cena explained why he would rather have a set date for his retirement from WWE than keep his options open.
