LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – There will be some showers and thunderstorms early in the evening, with temperatures around 21 degrees. It will drier later in the evening and at night, but the odd shower or thunderstorm is still possible late tonight. The night will still be quite humid, with lows around 18 degrees.
Monday will start cloudy with isolated showers, temperatures will be a mild 15 degrees. It will then finally dry out towards the afternoon. A mix of sun and clouds is expected in the afternoon, it will be a pleasant day with highs of between 25 and 25 degrees, in some places even around 27 degrees. In the evening there will be only a few clouds, temperatures will be around 21 degrees. During the night the skies will clear completely and lows will be between 15 and 15 degrees.
Tuesday will be a cool August day with plenty of sunshine and a few clouds in the afternoon. It will feel like autumn outside as we only expect highs of between 21 and 25 degrees! A few clouds will stick around in the evening and overnight as it will be a pleasantly cool night. Lows overnight are expected to be between 7 and 10 degrees!
On Wednesday, the sun will shine a lot in our area and it will remain pleasant with very low humidity. Maximum temperatures will be between 25 and 25 degrees. In the evening and at night, a few clouds will be seen from time to time, but it will remain pleasantly cool again, with minimum temperatures between 10 and 12 degrees.
There will be plenty of sunshine again on Thursday as temperatures begin to rise. It will still be a really nice day with highs between 27 and 30 degrees. Thursday night will see clear skies and it will be pleasant again, with lows between 10 and 12 degrees.
On Friday the sun will shine, with only a few clouds passing by. Temperatures will be average for this time of year, reaching highs of between 30 and 28 degrees. Lows at night will be between 15 and 16 degrees.
Next weekend will be very warm, but dry. Humidity will still be generally low, with highs between 30 and 35 degrees.
