Tim McGraw is sharing one of his popular comfort foods, but some fans aren’t quite sure about the food choice due to the dish’s presentation.
On Sunday, June 2, the country singer took to Instagram to showcase his “flight home dinner” on a plastic take-out tray: three cheese-covered hot dogs, which he referred to as chili dogs.
“Dinner last night on the flight home,” he captioned the photo, before emphatically adding, “Damn I love chilli sausages!!!!”
Although many fans seemed to find the image of the meal receptive, adding things like “Looks delicious! 😀” and “Just needs some onions and a bit of cheese! 😍”, others were a little disturbed by the confusing selection of meat dishes.
“Sir, you are brave to eat these on the plane 😳,” one remarked, while another joked, “The little one looks suspicious!? (sic) 😂,” which is a trendy shorthand for “suspicious.” (In reality, the “little one” in question looked like it had already been bitten into.)
Another seemed concerned and asked, “Tim, did you really eat that?”
“I’m going to pretend I never saw this,” someone else admitted.
Some took the opportunity to tell him how much they enjoyed his recent show, with one exclaiming, “You rocked it last night! Thanks for an amazing show!” and another gushing, “Well deserved!! I’m still smiling from ear to ear from last night’s concert! Thanks for what you do 😃🧡.”
McGraw was on his Standing Room Only Tour and was traveling from a show at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he played on Saturday, June 1. Up next, the “Just to See You Smile” singer will perform a series of shows across the country through September 2024.
