Vertigo Games brings the original Sunshine in Arizona brought back to life in a newly announced remake. During the VR Games Showcase, it was announced that Arizona Sunshine Remake will make its way to Meta Quest 2 and 3, PlayStation VR2 and PC via SteamVR, with those users who own the original Sunshine in Arizona Upgrade possible to Arizona Sunshine – New Edition at the reduced price of $9.99.

Pre-orders are now open and you’ll receive 10% off and the Federal Containment Agency Pack. The pack includes a Safety First Duck Pendant, Hazard Mitts, and a Crisis Command Suit. Those who choose to upgrade will also receive the pack.

Arizona Sunshine Remake has been completely rebuilt with high-resolution textures and realistic environmental details, and includes all of the original downloadable content and updates, including the Dead Man and The Damned DLCs, and the Old Mine, Trailer Park, and Undead Valley updates. The remake will include an improved mutilation and gore system that will allow you to kill Fred in a variety of ways. The original story remains intact, and the campaign allows you to jump in for a quick session or “stay for the whole ride.”

Originally published in 2016, Sunshine in Arizona puts you in the role of a nameless survivor of a post-apocalyptic version of the Grand Canyon State, which is currently plagued by zombies. You can go it alone or team up with other survivors to put the dead back under the ground.

The sequel, Arizona Sunshine 2was released last year for PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR.
