AEW star MJF talks about the atmosphere in the locker room

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF), the reigning AEW American Champion, recently spoke out about the locker room and work environment at All Elite Wrestling. After being involved in a backstage incident that led to the suspension of a top women’s talent, MJF still believes in the optimistic atmosphere within AEW.

As part of his media tour of England ahead of All In, which will take place on August 25 at Wembley Stadium, where he will fight Will Ospreay, Maxwell gave an interview to WrestleTalk in which he didn’t hold back when asked if AEW was described as a place where inmates run the institution.

“Sometimes it’s really disheartening when things leak out because most of them are just rumors or completely exaggerated,” MJF said. He further emphasized how united AEW is: “We’ve never been closer as a locker room.

It’s our best working conditions ever. It seems like everyone hates me, but now everyone is almost friends. It feels like a big team effort right now and everyone seems to believe in All Elite Wrestling and they’re trying to keep All Elite Wrestling moving forward.”

Future financial forecasts

In addition, MJF also touched on future financial projections for the organization, hinting that there could be significant financial gains soon. “I think we’re close to finding out whether or not Turner is going to give us enormous amounts of money,” he explained.

If we can do that, we can expect that being on par with WWE will make us the most successful wrestling promotion of all time.” As he prepares to face Ospreay at All In to defend his title following their narrow loss during their hour-long match on AEW Dynamite, MJF faces tougher odds than ever before.

The winner of these two wrestlers’ match will face PAC, who we secured a title shot for earlier this summer at the upcoming All Out event on September 7. With wrestling fans around the world watching closely, MJF’s comments provide insight into where AEW is now and what the future holds as the company continues to grow and change.
