Kimora Lee Simmons celebrates her daughter Aoki’s 22nd birthday

Kimora Lee Simmons’ youngest daughter is all grown up!

On Friday, August 16, the 49-year-old entrepreneur celebrated her daughter Aoki Simmons’ 22nd birthday with a heartfelt post on Instagram praising her many qualities.

“Happy birthday my dear, sweet, beautiful, smart, leggy, incredible, gorgeous baby @aokileesimmons!” Kimora began her caption.

“Cheers to you! We are all so excited for you! Wishing you all the best today and more! Keep your head up and keep shining! I love you so much! 😘💋💕🎉🎂🥂❤,” she added.

Alongside the message, Kimora shared a carousel of images, including professional modeling photos, snaps of mother and daughter when Aoki was a toddler and when she was a young girl, a more recent photo of the young adult sitting on a boat in a bikini, and a sweet photo of her, Aoki and her sister Ming Lee, 24, on a catwalk with their mother when they were children.

Ming Lee also celebrated her younger sister’s birthday on social media and posted several Instagram stories dedicated to Aoki.

In a sweet black-and-white snap, the two sisters posed next to each other when they were younger, both with big grins on their faces. “Happy birthday my baby @aokileesimmons,” Ming Lee wrote over the photo, adding two sparkly emojis and a blue heart.

Next, she posted a photo of herself holding her little sister as a baby and added several cute emojis. Finally, she also reposted one of Aoki’s modeling photos.

Kimora has sons Kenzo (15) and Wolfe (9) with her ex Russell Simmons Aoki and Ming Lee, as well as with Tim Leissner. In 2020, she also adopted her son Gary when he was 10 years old.

The mother of five can be very proud of her birthday girl Aoki. In May 2023, she graduated from Harvard University after being accepted there in 2019 at just 16 years old.

Aoki is not only a Harvard graduate, but also a model. In June, for example, she walked in Oscar De La Renta’s Pre-Spring 2025 show in New York City. She often posts photo shoots she has taken part in on Instagram.

Aoki has also appeared on the covers of magazines such as Teen Vogue, Rollercoaster And Flaunt, and she has collaborated with fashion houses such as Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Dolce & Gabbana.
