Ben Affleck celebrated his 52nd birthday on August 15 with visits from both his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and his current wife Jennifer Lopez.
Earlier in the day, Garner, who is also 52, was photographed arriving at Affleck’s rental home in Brentwood, California. The couple, who divorced in 2018, have three children together: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. In May, Affleck and Garner attended their daughter Violet’s high school graduation together.
Just hours after Garner’s visit, Lopez was spotted leaving Affleck’s rental home. Her appearance at the property comes amid ongoing speculation about their relationship. The couple, who married in 2022, had spent much of the summer apart. Lopez had celebrated her birthday without Affleck in the Hamptons and was later spotted at his rental home on August 11. According to a source, Lopez also spent time with Affleck’s son Samuel earlier in the day.
Despite the recent splits, Lopez, who has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, remains committed to building a relationship with Affleck’s children. “Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids,” the source said. “They’ve always taken care of them. Last year, she spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family.” The source added that Lopez plans to spend quality time with the kids before the new school year starts and Violet heads off to college.
Sources revealed in May that Affleck and Lopez had been living separately despite their joint purchase of a Beverly Hills mansion in May 2023. A recent source update on August 9 suggested that Affleck had a lot going on this summer, which helped him stay positive. “Ben is doing well.
