Randy Orton says he wants to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by John Cena

Randy Orton wants his biggest rival to induct him into WWE immortality.

John Cena and Randy Orton have been rivals ever since they entered the business, whether it’s for championship belts or pure revenge against each other. Now the two haven’t shared the ring in years and have a lot of respect for each other’s hard work in the business.

On Cody Rhodes’ “What Do You Wanna Talk About?”, Orton was asked who he would like to induct into the WWE Hall of Fame, and the only name that came to mind was The Legend Killer.

“If I’m lucky enough to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it’s not until everything is settled and over with. That’s the way it has to be. Which, gosh, I don’t even want to say it because I feel like he’s going to hear this and then feel obligated, but maybe John (Cena). There’s a couple of reasons. Selfishly, I know he’d knock it out of the park. He’s already taken a couple of shots. William ‘Refridgerator’ Perry. I don’t really follow sports. I didn’t know who this man was. Cena inducted him and when I sat there and watched John do what he did, I was completely captivated. I know John can do me justice better than pretty much anyone else because John is John. Of course there are other candidates, but I think John would be at the top of my list. I almost hate to say it out loud because I can’t imagine how busy this guy is with everything he’s got going on. I tend to sell myself short. Maybe he would like to. I don’t know if I could ask him. I almost don’t want to think about it until that time comes, if it ever comes.”

Orton will fight Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship and try to secure second place in the all-time rankings of WWE World Champion.
