Jasmine, they could never make me hate you
Love Is Blind UK has had its fair share of drama, love triangles and red flags, but if there’s one person who has never disappointed me on the show, it’s Jasmine. From the beginning, she spoke about her past relationships and opened herself up again to the love she could find with Bobby. I have no doubt that by the end of the season, the couple will be walking down the aisle and living a very happy marriage. It’s not just her own relationship that she shines in, though: she’s a HUGE girl and always stands by her friends. Here’s a guide to all of her red flags on the show.
She talks about her previous relationships

Jasmine immediately introduced herself as a super-sweet person with a really sad past: she had a boyfriend who was expecting a baby with another woman, which just sounds awful. The fact that she can talk so openly about her past is a great sign that she’s ready to move on to the future.
When Jasmine made her feelings for Sam clear

When she felt like she didn’t have a proper connection with Sam, she immediately told him that very clearly. While it may have been painful for both of them, it was one of those moments where you rip the band-aid off to avoid a big fight (Nicole probably could have taken some notes from this). She was even able to identify why the connection didn’t feel right to her, saying that Sam “told her what I wanted to hear” and that she “needed to give all her love to just one person.” Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with that.
When she gave it to Ollie

It’s no secret that Ollie didn’t like being told off by Jasmine, but honestly, he needed to hear it. She stood up for her girl when Ollie wasn’t acting right, and while he wasn’t thrilled, it seemed like Demi and Ollie were able to get over it after everything was laid bare. Sometimes it’s best to just let it all out, and Jasmine showed us exactly how to do that.
She was Demi’s best friend

Of all the friendships on Love Is Blind UK, Jasmine and Demi are my favourites. She was there to cheer Demi up when she was quiet because she was depressed and brought her out of her shell. It was such a girl-girl moment!
She is always super communicative with Bobby

Jasmine was always very clear about what she expected from Bobby and how they could make their relationship work. She even warned him when he was getting ready to meet her mother for the first time, explaining that she would probably grill him ad infinitum. They went over exactly what they thought about their relationship so that when the time came, they were on the same page. Despite that, she still loved him and it wasn’t going to stop her from marrying him. Very thoughtful!
When Jasmine set limits for her mom

If you watched the second part of the show, you might have pretty mixed feelings about Jasmine’s mother, who seemed overbearing to say the least. She said that Jasmine has to share EVERYTHING about her and Bobby’s relationship with her and even that he wasn’t good enough for her because he didn’t go to university and graduate. Jasmine was very quick to be honest with her mother and set that boundary between their relationship, which is a real red flag for her.
