Monday, 26.8.

Coffee drinkers have the opportunity to prove their love during Gambit For the love of coffee crawl. From now through Monday, September 2, visit some of the city’s amazing cafes for a chance to win the Moccamaster KBGV Select Model Home Brewing System and free admission for you and a guest to the NOLA Coffee Festival on September 27 and 28. Tuesday, 27.8.

Celebrate her new cookbook with chef Nini Nguyen! The Garden District Bookstore is hosting the launch of Dac Biet: A very special Vietnamese cookbook on Tuesday 27 August with a conversation between Chef Nini and Deniseea Head, a Q&A session and the opportunity to have your copy signed. The bookstore bar will also be open serving special cocktails inspired by the book. Entry to the event is free but you can reserve your spot and book online.

Wednesday, 28.8.

Make your Wednesday a fantastic one with dinner at Felipe’s Taqueria! On Wednesday, August 28, children under 12 will eat free when they dine in person at any of the many restaurants in town. While they enjoy their free meal, parents can participate in the restaurant’s daily happy hour from 3-6 p.m.

Thursday, 29.8.

Start your weekend early with Swirling wine And Ancora Pizzeria at Pizza & Wine Pairing Night. On Thursday, August 29th, guests can enjoy slices of five delicious artisan pizzas served with five different Italian wines. Attendees can sample at each station at their own pace while socializing over pizza and wine! Special wine discounts are available on Thursday nights only. Tickets are required and can be purchased online.

Friday, 30.8.

End the work week with a sweet treat! Trumpet and drum is offering Affogato Fridays this summer, which is ice cold vanilla ice cream from Parish Parlor topped with a shot of hot espresso. Stay to work or mingle at one of the shop’s many tables inside and outside.
