Luxury food influencer criticized for outrageous behavior at all-you-can-eat lobster buffet in Las Vegas

A luxury food influencer faced heavy criticism on social media after sharing a video of himself at an all-you-can-eat lobster buffet in Las Vegas.

Mr Lewis Lux, who describes himself as a “connoisseur of the luxury lifestyle”, shared footage of himself tucking into the $79.99 buffet at the Palms Hotel in Sin City.

He takes full advantage of the fact that it is an all-you-can-eat buffet and stacks several plates of lobster.

Due to the obscene amount of shellfish on his table, a staff member is seen telling him that he has reached the maximum and can only get more once he has eaten what he has.

Lux is seen questioning the man and saying, “To be clear, the rules state that I have to finish one plate before I go back to the buffet.”

Visibly annoyed, the employee continues: “For the lobsters, yes. We have a sign over there that says: One per plate.”

He hits back, adding: “But that doesn’t mean you have to finish your plate before you come back.”

Another customer is seen shouting at him that this is “common sense,” to which he replies, “I haven’t even spoken to you, who are you?”

As he pours melted butter over the fish, he continues in a voiceover: “The casino that takes all your money has a problem with me taking as much lobster as you can eat. Stop playing with me.”

“The manager comes to my table and says something like, ‘Um, excuse me, do you want to eat all of this?'”

“The rules said one piece per plate and that’s exactly what I did. After all that, the lobster was gone.

“This deal is definitely worth it, but the way they treated me made me want to leave immediately.”

He is then seen throwing two plates of lobster into a trash can while employees can be heard shouting, “You shouldn’t come back here.”

The video sparked a storm of outrage on social media, with people angry at his behavior in the video and at his wasting the lobster.

One person posted: “Did that bastard just throw away all the lobster? What the hell is wrong with him?”

“He literally just took perfectly good food and threw it in the trash. A living being was sacrificed, not to feed anyone, but for clicks on his TikTok.

“This is gluttony, narcissism and privilege in all its glory. Horrible.”

Another posted: “Ugh. Such a dumbass. “But the rules say the license plate” I can’t stand people like that. You’re not smart, you didn’t find a loophole, you’re a selfish bastard.”

Another said: “I can’t lie this time Lewis, you were wrong! We know the casino is after the money but to just waste food like that, no, no!”

“I would have intervened too, like this man! That’s just common sense.”

Although he has not openly defended his behavior, he has shared comments from people who find his behavior acceptable.
