Okay, stop what you are doing because Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall just won the gold medal for cutest couple ever… again. So, seriously, who gave them permission to be so charming?

Tara, the literal Olympic champion who just won gold in the long jump Olympic Games 2024 in Pariscame home and found a surprise that basically a romantic comedy in real life. Her husband Hunter, who is also an athletics star (he competes in the Paralympics) and clearly significant I fulfilled my husband’s goals and threw her the best welcoming party ever – and yes, there were tears. In a TikTok video which has been melting the internet since August 12th, Hunter took us for the journey while preparing for Tara’s surprise. First stop? Party City, of course, because what would an Olympic celebration be without a ton of red, white and blue balloons? Hunter, the perfectionist, went all out and even loaded the car with Mylar balloons in the shape of the American flag (because subtlety is overrated when you are Celebrating an Olympian).

The Party took place at the Ruby Pizzeria in Arkansas, a place that apparently one of Tara’s favorites. But before the big reveal, Hunter had one more important task: picking up the Star of the show herself, fresh from her flight from Paris. And I can tell you, Tara’s reaction was everything. She was practical excited and chanting: “Mom has it home! The gold medal has come home!” while jumping around like the total queen she Is.
