Four American Airlines flight attendants were injured in turbulence last week, the company said on Monday.
The crew members were aboard Flight 2905, which departed from Tampa International Airport in Florida to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina on August 8, the airline told Fox News Digital.

The four flight attendants were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, American said. The extent of their injuries was not disclosed.
None of the 154 passengers were injured.

“American Airlines flight 2905, operating from Tampa (TPA) to Charlotte (CLT), landed safely in CLT after experiencing unexpected turbulence,” an airline spokesman said Fox News“We thank our crew members for their professionalism and our customers for their understanding.”
The incident occurred one day before the crash of a Brazilian passenger plane in which all 62 people on board were killed. The twin-engine turboprop ATR 72 aircraft crashed into a residential area in the city of Vinhedo.
The cause of the fiery crash is not yet clear.
