DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE concept art shows alternative looks for Wesley Snipes’ blade

We have more Deadpool and Wolverine Concept art to check out, this time focusing on the final and early designs of Blade (Wesley Snipes).

John Staub has shared some illustrations that are very close to what the character would look like in real life, while Rodney Fuentebella’s illustrations show an alternate design for the Daywalker.

“I wanted a slightly more worn Blade that had experienced and endured a lot to survive,” writes the artist.

Will we see Snipes as Blade in the MCU? Marhershala Ali is set to play the vampire hero in the upcoming reboot, but Ryan Reynolds has been vocal about giving this original take on the character a “Logan-like send-off,” and given how well his performance in the film went down with fans, we’d say at least one more movie is in the works.

Deadpool and Wolverine has officially surpassed the one billion dollar mark at the worldwide box office today and is on track to become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
