The Chiefs’ offensive linemen played just one series in the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium on Saturday night.
That was pretty much the norm during coach Andy Reid’s tenure in Kansas City. The first line of offense moved the ball 43 yards in seven plays and tight end Travis Kelce was targeted once. Kelce caught the ball for 7 yards.
Kelce’s girlfriend, superstar singer Taylor Swift, was not at the game as he is in Europe for her Eras Tour. However, Chiefs fans were thinking of Swift… and Kelce at Jaguars Stadium.
