Vice President Shettima rejects birthday notices and gives 58 hours September 2

Vice President Kashim Shettima has requested his compatriots, colleagues and well-wishers not to place congratulatory advertisements on his 58th birthday.

He made this appeal in a statement on Thursday.

On September 2, the Vice President will turn 58 years old.

Therefore, Mr. Shettima requested friends and colleagues who wish to place benevolent messages as advertisements to kindly donate the funds to charities and citizens in need instead.

“As this auspicious moment draws ever closer, Vice President Shettima urges family members, friends and colleagues who may wish to place promotional messages to please kindly donate the funds to charities and citizens in need instead.

“This is in line with the commitment of the Renewed Hope government under President Bola Tinubu to address issues of development and economic growth and improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

“The Vice President is ever grateful for the goodwill he enjoys among Nigerians and for the best wishes extended to him by many of his well-wishers over the years,” the statement said.
