Bad Wolf continues its mission to reach one million new readers by launching another Manila book sale. The latest sale will be held from August 7 to 15, 2024 at the Ayala Malls TriNoma Activity Center, Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Just in time for the celebration of All about the languageBig Bad Wolf brings local voices and stories to the forefront by bringing together an impressive lineup of local publishers at the TriNoma stage. Local publishers such as Feast Books, Adarna, Tahanan Lampara, and Bookmark, as well as independent book publishers, join forces to showcase the rich and vibrant Filipino literature. This collaboration highlights local narratives and ensures that these diverse stories reach a wider audience.
Guests can immerse themselves in Big Bad Wolf’s vibrant selection of over two million books, including incredible titles from local publishers. Local stories featured in the book sale include Anya Chelabian’s and Faye Villanueva’s Ma-ich Series by Kawangis Publishing, Ana Digis Sa Kalye Mailap and Sinta by Street Tales Publishing and Jose Heart of Jesus: Mga Piling Tula, edited by National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario of San Anselmo Press.
Also on offer are books by Palanca Award winner and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Ricky Lee, such as Sa Puso ng Himala, For B (or how love destroys four out of five of us)and Kulang na Silya at Iba Pang Kwentong Buhay: Essays on life and writing.
Big Bad Wolf added even more fun to the TriNoma Book Flea Market with exciting activities. 501 Legion, a cosplay and storytelling activity that is fun for everyone, is back. Little ones can once again participate in the Book Flea Market on weekends as Little Wolfies crew members.
The third book sale in Manila marks the ongoing partnership between Big Bad Wolf and Ayala Malls. Big Bad Wolf extends its support to Ayala Malls’ BookLat: Open. Imagine. Discover. initiative, which encourages young people in the Ayala Malls and Ayala Land Estates communities to read for leisure and entertainment. Ayala Malls aims to collect 20,000 books for public school students from kindergarten to Grade 3.
Metrobank will once again be present at the Big Bad Wolf TriNoma Book Sale. They are offering a special 0% 3-month installment promotion to credit card holders for purchases with a single receipt valued at least P3,000. Swedish home furnishing brand IKEA will also be present at the book sale and will give an exclusive gift to visitors.
