NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Chappell Music and Ashley Gorley’s Tape Room Music announced the signing of songwriter Ben Williams to an exclusive worldwide publishing deal.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Tape Room and Warner Chappell,” Williams says of this next chapter. “I’m so excited to be working with my close friends Caroline and Benji and have some of the best people and best teams by my side! Thank you to Ashley Gorley and Blain Rhodes for taking me under their wing and preparing me for what’s next, as well as Ben Vaughn, Spencer Nohe and everyone at Warner Chappell for believing in me along the way! I’m so excited to see what the future holds!”

“Ben is everything you could want in a writer: talented, driven and an all-around great human being,” says Caroline Hodson, Director, A&R of Tape Room Music. “As a writer, he has proven himself to be a vital pillar of the Nashville community and a friend to many. We are thrilled to be working with Warner Chappell and couldn’t be happier to welcome Ben to the Tape Room family!”

Williams’ signing follows his first No. 1 hit on country radio with “Tennessee Orange,” which Megan Maroney turned into a double RIAA platinum record that was nominated for Song of the Year at the CMA, ACM and People’s Choice Country Awards.

His other hits include Moroney’s RIAA platinum single “I’m Not Pretty” and Avery Anna’s RIAA platinum hit “Narcissist.”

“Ben has had an incredible start to his career because he has the ability to meet artists and songwriters exactly where they are in their lives,” adds Benji Amaefule, Manager of A&R Warner Chappell Music Nashville. “As a result, he has written some of the catchiest and most impactful songs out there today. I look forward to working with him and the Tape Room team to bring his songs to the ears of people across the country and around the world for years to come.”
