Rock band from Omaha, Nebraska Names without numbers has released her single, “Ping-pong ball in a concrete room”, the second single from the band’s upcoming EP, We create realityis expected to be released on September 27th.

Singer/Guitarist Ryan Cruickshank explained:

“This song is about the hectic pace of life. Sometimes it feels like everything is going too fast to keep up with all your obligations.”

Names Without Numbers was formed by a group of friends and musicians whose sound has evolved from experimental emo and punk to a more sophisticated brand of pop rock. Consisting of David Owens (guitar, vocals), Joel Schlegelmilch (Bass), Jason Blaney (drums) and Cruickshank (vocals, guitar) they shared the stage with Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Hey Mercedes, Hot Rod Race Track, CopelandAnd Plain white t-shirts.

Opening with shiny guitars that vaguely resemble Tom Petty“Ping Pong Ball in a Concrete Room” opens with a dense, catchy melody, topped with layers of shimmering textures riding on powerful percussion. Bright harmonies add gleaming facets to the melody. A gently shimmering bridge culminates in a heavy, glossy outro.
