Elton John: Never too late will premiere on Disney+ on December 13. Directed by RJ Cutler and David Furnish, the documentary follows music icon Elton John as he looks back on his life and the beginnings of his 50-year career in this intimate and uplifting journey.
As he prepares for his final North American concert at Dodger Stadium, John takes audiences on a journey through time, sharing the extraordinary highs and heartbreaking lows of his early years and how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the legend he is today. The film will feature a new original song by John.
Before launching on Disney+ Elton John: Never too late will be in theaters in the US and UK for a limited time starting November 15th.
The Disney Branded Television original documentary is produced by Rocket Entertainment and This Machine Filmworks (part of Sony Pictures Television). Directors Cutler and Furnish also serve as producers, along with Trevor Smith. Elise Pearlstein, Mark Blatty, Luke Lloyd Davies, Rachael Paley, Jane Cha Cutler and John Battsek serve as executive producers.
John’s final North American concert at Dodger Stadium in New York can now be streamed on Disney+.
