Jennifer Garner is very close to her family, so it’s no surprise that the actress has several beautiful family photos hanging in her $8 million home.

In a new video shared with fans on Instagram, Jennifer reads the children’s book The Eyebrows of Doom by Steve Smallman out loud while her Golden Retriever Birdie listens quietly. Watch the video below:

The mother of three children was sitting on the floor in what appeared to be her living room. A dark blue bookcase was built into the wall behind her.

Various hardback books were scattered on the shelves, along with an owl-shaped bookend and several photo frames that displayed the memories Jennifer cherished; one photo appeared to be from the early 20th century and could have been one of Jennifer’s great-grandmothers, while another appeared to show Jennifer’s family, including her two sisters posing with their mother and father.

This isn’t the first time Jennifer has given fans a glimpse into her home, as in 2021 she shared another video of herself reading a children’s book. 30 overnight The star sat next to her dog Birdie on a beautiful sofa with grey and white cushions and a grey blanket.

Behind the sofa were four industrial-style bookshelves filled with rows and rows of books and frames containing photographs of her three children: Violet, now 18, Fin, 15, and son Samuel, 12, whom she raised in the house.

Jennifer purchased her $7.9 million home in the Brentwood neighborhood in 2019. She tore down the 1930s cottage property and built her dream home on the property instead.

Built to resemble the beautiful coastal mansions of Cape Cod, the two-story home was designed by Ken Ungar. There’s also a spacious patio for entertaining, with a pool, and in an early 2024 video, the actress revealed a beautiful garden where she can indulge her love of nature and farming.

Holding a bright, cheerful pumpkin blossom, Jennifer shared “nerdy facts about the farm,” focusing on the winter squash, known as the official Halloween fruit.

“This flower is both male and female. Inside it is a pistil that needs pollen. Do you know who takes care of it? Bees! Thank you for the bees!” she told viewers.
