Construction of a seven-story residential building at 31-48 Crescent Street in Astoria is nearly complete, having recently reached topping out.

According to the construction site, the project is expected to be completed in winter 2024. Workers on site are preparing to assemble the building facade, with metal framing bolts already being inserted into the edges of the floor slabs.

The building is located on an interior lot between 31st Road and 31st Drive, has a floor area of 3,740 square meters and features 25 rental units.

Amenities for residents of this building include an 800-square-foot recreation room, laundry facilities, bike storage, and basement parking. While these amenities are all located on the lower floors of the building, there will also be a communal rooftop deck with planters and seating areas.

The closest subway station to this property is the elevated Broadway station, which is served by both the N and W trains.

The residential building was designed by C3D Architecture and the developer is Crescent Properties Development LLC.

Before the new building was constructed, there was a single-family home and several trees on the site.
