A couple spent a parent-teacher night at D23! “We actually had to leave our kids at home to come and experience this, let’s put it that way,” said Jessie Perez of Inglewood.

This gathering of official Disney fan club members takes place Friday through Sunday at the Anaheim Convention Center, with special showings each night at the Honda Center.

From rides to cruises, Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, announced that a stage production of “Moana” will be featured on Disney Treasure, which launches in December.
D’Amaro then noted that while details about Disney Destiny were revealed last week, some things were saved for this moment: The new ship will have Hercules as its flagship and will launch in 2026.
Using R&B Group All-4-One, D’Amaro then announced that they will be adding four more cruise ships to the DCL fleet. When they are all in service, there will be 13 ships in total.
Two new “Cars” attractions are coming to Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom.
The first is a racing rally across the border.

Construction work will begin next year.
Disney royalty is in the building! Billy Crystal, the voice of Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc., graced the D23 stage during the Disney Experiences Showcase.
“I have news, Josh, that is bigger than the shaggy blue monster I am friends with,” he said
The big announcement: “Monsters Inc. Land” is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, says a new attraction in the land will give people the opportunity to tour Monstropolis’s Laugh Factory. It will be the first suspended roller coaster in a Disney park. Grapples will grab the Laugh Factory’s doors and lift it into the air.
