NFL Draft 2025: Green Bay Packers and league seek Wisconsin-based company

The Green Bay Packers and the NFL announced Monday, August 26, that they are seeking diverse and local businesses from across Wisconsin to participate in the 2025 NFL Draft in Titletown.

A press release states that Wisconsin companies are encouraged to apply for the 2025 NFL Draft Source procurement program to increase their opportunities for subcontractors in the draft, including, but not limited to: audio/video, contract labor, event production, heavy equipment, barriers, entertainment, floral, janitorial services, catering, concessions, event services, general contracting and transportation. Professional services needs include: business administration, legal, management and consulting, finance, marketing and advertising, and information technology.

Companies that apply and are accepted into the program will be listed in an online membership directory that NFL contractors and partners can use to find local suppliers to meet their subcontracting needs. Accepted companies will also participate in networking and capacity building activities.

Applications are now being accepted and selections will be made in the coming months. Local businesses across Wisconsin are encouraged to apply.

Officials said membership in the program is a competitive process; acceptance does not guarantee contracts or RFP invitations. Requests for proposals (RFPs) from NFL event production companies are expected to be released in the fall.

To be considered for membership, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • The headquarters must be in the state of Wisconsin
  • Have been in operation since April 2022
  • Be 51% owned and operated by a minority, woman, person with a disability, LGBTQ+, or veteran (each in accordance with federal supplier diversity guidelines) and certified by at least one of the NFL-approved certification bodies
  • You must be in good standing and authorized to do business in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Be the direct source of the goods and services offered
  • Providing a product or service requested by the Green Bay Draft Source Program
