Introduce your children to winter sports in the cozy indoor area of Shredder Livonia. The indoor center offers ski and snowboard lessons for children ages 1 to 10.
Whether it’s an introduction to winter sports or preparing for a family outing, Shredder is a great place to teach your kids the equipment and basic skills without lots of layers and wet clothes. Sign up for 10-week courses and build the skills you need to be safe and have fun on the slopes. Classes have 5 students per time slot and are divided by age.
- Yeti School: 1-3 years
- Small shredders: 3-5 years old
- Ski and snowboard school: 5-10 years
Open sessions will also be offered, where kids can try out equipment and use the slops with the help of parents and coaches. Private lessons are also available. On Thursday, August 29th and Saturday, August 31st, Shredder will be hosting demo classes to give a taste of the classes that will be offered this fall. In addition to lessons, Shredder also hosts birthday parties! Host a ski/board party for up to 8 kids and make it a party that kids and parents will talk about for a long time. Birthday parties are best suited for children ages 5-10 and include an hour of activity and 30 minutes for snacks/cake. Click here for more information
