The criticism of her relationship with John Janssen (or, as she likes to call him, Johnny J) does not bother Alexis Bellino.
The mother of three who returned to the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County as a girlfriend for season 18, addressed those skeptical about her romance with the USC graduate in her Instagram stories.
First, she shared a selfie of herself hugging John while they were out on his boat together. The second photo she shared on her stories showed the front of John’s boat and the surrounding water.
“Talk away…” she wrote in the caption of her second photo. “While we ride away on the boat and live our lives.”
Are Alexis Bellino and John Janssen engaged?
Alexis and John have not yet celebrated their first anniversary as a couple, but are already thinking about their next chapter.
In an exclusive chat with The daily dish In June 2024, Alexis hinted that an engagement to John was “just around the corner.”
“Honestly, I think he’s trying to distract me. I know it’s coming because we went ring shopping together. So it’s definitely around the corner,” Alexis, who was previously married to Jim Bellino and engaged to Andy “Drew” Bohn, said of her beau’s wedding plans. “It could be tomorrow. It could be in six months. I honestly don’t know because he accuses me of a lot of little things.”
She also confirmed that she will make the engagement public if it actually happens.
“I think he’s just trying to confuse me,” she added. “So, I don’t know… I mean, America will know when it happens. We’re not going to be silent.”
Alexis certainly didn’t hide her relationship with John. RHOC Not even in season 18. In the teaser for the middle of season 18, Alexis reiterates that after only a few months of dating, she is ready to take the next step with John.
“We’re buying rings,” she tells her friends and fellow actresses Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge in the teaser, much to their visible surprise.
