Sheffield Cathedral is once again teaming up with award-winning art projection specialists Luxmuralis to help you start your Christmas celebrations in style with the world premiere of the son-et-lumière ‘The Gift’.

‘The Gift’ will be the Cathedral’s fifth Christmas illumination. Since ‘The Angels are Coming’ in 2019, nearly 40,000 people have marvelled at the incredible, multi-sensory light and sound experience throughout the ancient building, inside and out. Experience the story of God’s greatest gift to us all, the coming of his Son Jesus Christ, brought to life on the Cathedral’s ancient walls.

Take time to explore the cathedral and discover each side chapel beautifully illuminated. Soak up the festive spirit of kindness, delight in the beautifully decorated Christmas trees, enjoy seasonal treats from the 1554 Coffee and Gift Shop, say a prayer and light a candle next to the famous Sheffield Steel Nativity.
