DENVER, Colorado (KCNC) — The 5th Annual Flock Party offers a chance to get to know the animals and support conservation. The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance is opening up the 200-acre grounds for a private, exclusive party. There’s live music, cocktails and tasty snacks, but it’s the animal experiences that make this fundraiser special.

Partygoers can experience the zoo’s flamingo walk and special performances featuring African wild dogs, African lions, Asian elephants, Amur tigers and more. Many attendees dress up in their best flamingo/tropical attire to make the party even more festive. All proceeds from the Flock Party benefit more than 600 conservation initiatives in 62 countries.

“Wildlife needs us. It needs us desperately. Humans got wildlife to where it is now, so humans need to help them get out of there. That’s why we’re working in Peru, Asia and Africa. Great things are happening all over the world, working with partners who are helping us advance community, wildlife and habitat conservation,” said Bert Vescolani, president and CEO of the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance.

The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance Flock Party will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Denver Zoo campus. Attendance at the event is limited to those ages 21 and older.
