But a Reddit user named @EMC676, with the help of AI art creator Midjourney, has come up with an idea of what the MCU’s core team, the Avengers, might look like if they were part of Disney’s illustrious animated offerings. The artwork was met with overwhelmingly positive reactions from Marvel fans in the Reddit comments. The top poster asked: “Would anyone else like to see a What If episode in this animation style?”
Suffice it to say, while it’s outlandish to think of Captain America, Thor, and Black Panther as bona fide Disney protagonists, it’s no less magical. For anyone who grew up with Disney movies and has since moved on to the slightly less kid-friendly MCU franchise, this collision of two worlds evokes a nostalgia that begs to be explored.
