Philippine Airlines and Singapore Tourism Board collaborate on exciting travel campaigns

Philippine Airlines (PAL), the leading airline of the Republic of the Philippines, has signed a one-year partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to promote travel to Singapore.

The partnership has seen the launch of a year-long programme of exciting activities highlighting PAL’s world-class flight experience and variety of experiences for first-time and repeat travellers to explore and rediscover in Singapore.

Activities include a campaign featuring content creators Laureen Uy and her husband Miggy Cruz, and lifestyle blogger and fashion designer Camille Co, complemented by a limited-time seat sale. With special offers on flight tickets combined with accommodation and experiences, travelers are in for a real treat.

Captain Stanley Ng, President and COO of PAL, said: “Philippine Airlines is delighted to partner with Singapore once again. Meanwhile, STB CEO Melissa Ow said, “The Philippines is one of Singapore’s most important markets and has experienced strong recovery with the support of long-standing partners such as Philippine Airlines. They have been instrumental in reinforcing Singapore’s position as a vibrant lifestyle destination where ordinary moments are transformed into extraordinary experiences. We are excited to take our partnership with Philippine Airlines to the next level and welcome more Filipino travelers to Singapore soon.”

In 2023, the Philippines was Singapore’s sixth largest source market for tourism, with nearly 700,000 visitors, representing an 84 percent recovery in visitor numbers from 2019. By June 2024, Singapore will have welcomed nearly 390,000 Filipino visitors.

New attractions and experiences awaiting travelers in Singapore include Bird Paradise, a wildlife park with over 400 species of birds; and the soon-to-open Illumi, the world’s largest multimedia lighting event (opening September 2024); Harry Potter: Visions of Magic, an interactive art experience (fourth 2024); Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore (first quarter 2025); Disney Adventure by Disney Cruise Line (by 2025).
