Three thoughts
• This 247 Sports piece has OSU wins all of its Big 12 games but loses to TCU and K-State – do you agree?
It fits the pattern of OSU losing a game it shouldn’t lose (West Virginia 2013, Iowa State 2021, etc.).
• CBS has the Pokes as top 25 brand in college football – makes sense (CBS Sports)
• I agree with this opinion – If you told someone “OSU will win eight games in 2024,” this would be the reason why:
I’m not too worried about the Cowboys offense. They have the best running back in college football and enough players in the passing game to score against almost anyone. The problem for me is the defense, which I fear will hold them back, especially in the passing game.

Two quotes
• Content I’d Pay For – Mike Gundy (honestly) evaluates each of his recruiting classes two years later:
Gundy on freshman tight end Josh Ford: “If they knew as much about him as we do, he would be a four-star player.”
— Marshall Scott (@MarshallScottOK) 22 August 2024
• This statistic could serve as expert trash talk for OU fans at SEC tailgate events – “our old rival is way better than you”:
“Interesting fact: Oklahoma State has had more 10-win seasons (eight) since 2010 than Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami and Tennessee combined (seven).” – @ADavidHaleJoint https://t.co/LkOaqzBb0r #GoPokes

A question
• If you could add one player to this Cowboy football roster – one that you imagine would cost $500,000 in NIL money – who would you want to add?
My answer: defensive lineman or defensive back.
Non-OSU bullets
• UConn and Big 12 appear to be in serious negotiations – CBS’ Matt Norlander gives more details here
• Our children need stories (based on faith)
Sounds like a fun concept:
Designed by Tiger Woods, @PopstrokeGolf plans to open its first location in Oklahoma. @thehalfokc near Britton and Broadway.
