FX Networks’ AHX Wax House at Disney’s D23 Fan Expo featured exhibits influenced by “American Horror Story” and the upcoming “Grotesquerie.”

While Disney’s D23 Fan Expo is currently underway, FX Networks has some impressive interactive/immersive experiences for The bear And ShogunBut our focus was on what we would see from Robert F. Kennedy & Murphy Productions’ long-running horror anthology series American Horror Story and upcoming Niecy Nash Betts (Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), Courtney B. Vance (Lovecraft Land), Lesley Manville (The Crown) and NFL Star Travis Kelce-with grotesque. In addition to the AHS-inspired works, we are also treated to a Grotesquerie-inspired set-up – one that includes the not-at-all-threatening combination of candles, a stained glass window, and a general air of creepiness:

And here’s a look at the loot attendees were able to grab during the interactive experience:

What I saw today was they sent psychiatrists for everyone who worked on that crime scene. They say, ‘Well, honey, evil has always existed.’ And quote a statistic about how the world is getting better, less murder, more help, less global horror, there’s never been a better time to be alive…” Nash-Betts says in the voiceover. “Come back. It’s not getting better. And I always need to hear your answers because something is happening around us and nobody sees it but me,” the voiceover ends with a great cliffhanger. Here’s a look back at the teaser Murphy Productions & FX Networks released for grotesque that surprised everyone:
