JACKSON, Tennessee – The Jackson Arts Council is bringing Friday Art Walks back to downtown Jackson.
This is the time for artists to showcase their work and sell some of their favorite pieces.
There will be stalls, live music and food trucks.
And if you are an artist, you can still register to participate.
You can participate on the first Friday in September, October and November.
The Friday Art Walks take place in the Arts District in downtown Jackson and span two zones.
Zone one is on East Main Street and zone two is on Jackson Walk.
“We have mostly visual artists and we have some artists who signed up before us, Rose Newhouse, Abby Wolfzorn and Josh Blankenship. Some really well-known artists like Samantha Wood and many others, and new artists trying it out for the first time. It’s really cool to see all the different types of art we have out there,” said Erin Eller, office manager of the Jackson Arts Council.
