WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H presented a top NBA star with a special gift at FanaticsFest in New York City.
After meeting the likes of Travis Scott and Lil Baby at FanaticsFest, Triple H has now posted a video of himself with Phoenix Suns power forward Kevin Durant.
But it was more than just a handshake and a picture. Triple H presented the all-time NBA star with a special gift that commemorated his early days in college.
The Game gifted Durant a special WWE Legacy Championship from the University of Texas’s famed Texas Longhorns, the team Durant played for in 2006-07 before being drafted into the NBA.
Triple H posted the video on Twitter and wrote:
Came across @KDTrey5 at @FanaticsFest and had to make sure he could take the @TexasLonghorns legacy with him (literally) everywhere he went. #HookEm @Fanatics
You can watch the exchange between Triple H and Durant below.
As previously mentioned, one of WWE’s biggest celebrity appearances at FanaticsFest was multi-platinum rapper Travis Scott, who was introduced as Rey Mysterio’s special mystery tag team partner on the second night of the event (August 17).
You can read what Triple H had to say about Scott’s appearance at this link here.
