Given these shocking numbers, operations at Daytona International Airport (DAB) may not seem like much. Yet, the six airlines operating here will offer more than a quarter of a million flights in 2024, according to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium. Let’s take a closer look at the operations of these six aircraft at Daytona Beach.

Daytona is a small airport that offers several advantages for the round trip flight, one of which is the opportunity to save time. The airport itself writes:

“When you consider the total travel time from home to the final destination, even with a connecting flight, travelers can reach their destination in the same time or faster than with a direct flight. That’s because when flying to or from DAB, there is no long drive (or major traffic congestion) to the airport, parking is just minutes from the terminal, and TSA screening times are typically less than 10 minutes. Flying with DAB saves time and eliminates the stress of driving to the airport.”
