HELENA – In this week’s edition of Out and About: a 12-hour festival in Helena celebrating artists and musicians of all kinds, a street festival to celebrate and raise funds for our special needs community, and a party at Steed Stadium to celebrate the Bighorns’ upcoming season.
Soulfire Fest – Soulfire Studios – 24.08.
It kicks off early Saturday morning, from 10am to 10pm, with live music, comedians and dancers performing at Soulfire Studios. There will also be food and drinks available during the 12-hour festival while you enjoy the artwork and performances celebrating artists and musicians of all kinds.
Aspen Street Festival – Women’s Park – 24.08.
At the same time, Aspen’s Block Party will be held on Saturday at Women’s Park. The event will feature food vendors, games and music. There will also be artwork, games and a 50/50 raffle for a good cause to celebrate our special needs community.
Helena Bighorn’s blue/white parking lot party – Ross Arena – 24.08.
The Bighorns are back! On Saturday at 4 p.m., the community will fill the Steed Arena parking lot for a tailgate party. There will be vendors, raffles, giveaways, games and raffles. The event will also feature hot food, cold beverages and a foam party bubble truck for fun for the whole family. It’s all to celebrate the reigning national champions for their blue and white scrimmage. For the scrimmage, doors open at 6 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m.
