The U.S. women’s national team ended a 12-year break from winning an Olympic gold medal on Saturday.
The team won the gold medal game at the 2024 Paris Olympics against Brazil 1-0, with striker Mallory Swanson scoring the decisive goal in the second half.
Saturday’s gold win is the team’s fifth in history and could be one of the most exciting Olympic victories in USWNT history.
