Originally from Iran, author Malek M. Nazemi, MD, completed high school in England before moving to Germany where he received his PhD in biochemistry and his MD degree. He spent four years conducting research and teaching basic science at the University of Giessen in Germany before moving to the United States. After completing his specialization, Dr. Nazemi practiced medicine in the state of Texas for 25 years. He is a lifetime member and fellow of the American College of Physicians and has published several scientific articles in various journals.
