ACC Network’s fifth anniversary premieres on Thursday, August 22, celebrating five years of ACC greatness

ACC Network celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special 60-minute show. Five-year anniversary of the ACC networkPremieres Thursday, August 22 at 6 p.m. ET. Hosted by Taylor Tannebaum And Mark PackerThe anniversary special celebrates the ACC’s best teams, coaches, student-athletes and moments since the network launched on August 22, 2019.

“College sports are a core part of ESPN’s DNA and we are so proud of all the work that has gone into the first five years of ACC Network, which has resulted in such a resounding success,” said Jeramy Michiaelssenior director of programming and acquisitions at ESPN. “We look forward to continuing to support the incredible student-athletes of the ACC through the network’s world-class live coverage and reporting.”

From achieving full distribution, to combining new corporate and title sponsors, to the creation of Road Trip, the journey of ACC Huddle and the tireless commitment to taking our league through competitions, championships, storytelling and more, we are proud of what has been accomplished and excited for what lies ahead.”

ACCN moderators and analysts, including Kelsey Riggs, Manuel, Carlos Boozer and more, join Tannebaum and Packer as they look back on their favorite moments of the past five years. Since launch, nine different ACC schools have combined to win 29 national titles in 10 different sports, 64 athletes have been selected in the first round of the NBA, NFL, MLB or WNBA draft and Five-year anniversary of the ACC network will celebrate the conference’s collective achievements through interviews, highlights, discussions and flashbacks.

In addition to the 60-minute special ACC PM The show will be hosted by original ACCN anchors Packer and Riggs as part of the five-year anniversary celebration on Wednesday, August 21 (4-6 p.m.) live from ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut.

Five-year anniversary of the ACC network Highlights include:

  • Packer conducts a sit-down interview with Commissioner Phillips, reflecting on his first three years at the helm of the ACC and sharing his favorite moments on and off the field.
  • Andrea Adelson Coverage of the remarkable playing career and transition to coaching of the field hockey star and current head coach of North Carolina Erin Matson.
  • Adelson reflects the legacy of Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry, And Lavel Davis, Jr.University of Virginia football players who were tragically shot and killed on the UVA campus in 2022.
