WATCH LIVE: Kamala Harris speaks on the final night of the DNC 2024

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (FOX NEWS) – On Thursday, the final night of the Democratic National Convention, Vice President Kamala Harris will formally accept her party’s nomination for president, just over a month after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

As the final night of the DNC begins, social media and newsrooms are abuzz with anticipation, but everyone is not talking about Harris, but about who will supposedly be tonight’s special guest.

Music artist Pink is set to perform alongside The Chicks, but there is reportedly a gap in the DNC schedule for a surprise guest. Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are among the A-list names fans are speculating could perform.

Newsweek even considered the two power women as possible candidates. Politico reported that the DNC’s house band rehearsed Beyoncé songs earlier in the day.

Harris, who has never won a presidential primary, will have a chance to establish herself and her candidacy tonight after a tumultuous month leading the Democratic ticket. She has yet to sit down for media interviews or lay out details of her policy plans.

According to Variety, more than 20 million Americans will tune in Thursday night – if not for Harris, then for the stars the DNC has recruited to help her win.
