Greg Rose, an artist, and Tasha Jones, a poet, sat down with us to talk about the upcoming BUTTER Fine Art Fair, taking place here in Indianapolis on Labor Day weekend, August 29-September 1, 2024.
The BUTTER Fine Art Fair is a creative extravaganza featuring over 60 artists from around the world, including local, national and international talent. One of this year’s exhibiting artists is Greg Rose.
What is special about the fair is that it sells or rents 100 percent of its artworks and all proceeds go directly to the artists.
Greg talked about the positive impact BUTTER has had on artists in Indiana and how excited he was about the fair this year. He believes *BUTTER* brings a lot of exposure to local talent.
Tasha Jones leads the poetry activities at the fair. She also talked about what visitors can expect.
In addition to visual art, BUTTER hosts several events throughout the weekend, including poetry readings, live DJs and artist talks.
Tasha is excited to bring poetry to *BUTTER* and share it with the community. Individual tickets to the event are $40 and allow for three distinct days of art and activities.
There is also a special preview night on Thursday for $150. Students under 18 are admitted free on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
